I’ve gone POST-mad! It’s all thanks to the Rastan soundtrack:

Egad! That’s good!
But, somehow, it just sounds even better in context:
Seattle newspaper The Stranger has created an iPhone application that will notify and guide you to the nearest Happy Hour.
Say you’re standing at the corner of 45th and University at 5 pm—you just got off work and you’re looking for a place to drink. Just open up Cocktail Compass and it will supply you with a list of nearby bars with happy hours happening right that very moment! It’ll even tell you what their specials are!
Now that the second half of Resident Evil 5 is starting to get on my nerves, I can calm those nerves the old fashioned way, just like grandma used to make.
I always get confused by how to credit these posts that end up having multiple sources. The place I read this news already read it from two different places. Anyways…
Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island from Autumn Moon Entertainment is looking mighty fantastic and good. Mr. Tiller also mentions in his blog how the game has a more serious plot than the Monkey Island series, while still maintaining a sense of humor:
Also maybe it’s due to my Cal Arts story training, but I tend to like to make comedy adventures similar to movies like the original Batman, Iron Giant and The Incredibles- stories that have a serious plot but have a lot of comedic situations. Tim Burton, Spielberg and Bard Bird all tend to make movies like this, so they must have been an influence. Monkey Island is great farce and I love other farces like Airplane, Blazing Saddles and anything Monty Python, but I like making stories that are a bit more serious, where the consequences of the characters actions have dramatic consequences.
I debated posting the screenshots here, but, as they are scans of a copyrighted magazine, I have decided against it. You’ll have to visit the forums on your own evil accord. Brianimation.com does not condone nor advocate the scanning of magazines, unless the pictures are hilarious video game advertisments from the 1980s.
In lieu of a screenshot, here is a picture of a cat in a Santa hat:
